Lodging and travel before the climb
So, are we all planning to arrive the same day, if so are we going to find a place big enough for all 4 of us or do you wanna find separate places or rooms within the same location? My initial thought is to try to be there on the 6th to give a little time to explore/relax as I think Dad and I are going to drive up.

I like the idea of getting a place for four of us. Im not sure wether my dad is flying or not. I want to be a little flexible with when I show up and if we had a place on the sixth, then we could all filter in.

Also I would not mind getting one of these small cabins and then I can just camp outside and use the facilities. That would be great.

I'm in for one of the small ones, if dad and I are driving I can throw a couple comfy cots in the truck and everyone will have a bed or a cot if they want it, keeps it cheap...

Did Trivago.Com search for 8/7 - 10.
Very little left...........like 3 rooms.
Think we better act.......
or plan on stayin' other than Ashford.

Re: Lodging and travel before the climb
This was on the list Dad sent me, I emailed the manager today she said it is available from the 7th to the tenth. Looks like the total is the price listed on the page for the three nights. Breaks down to $144.25/person or 48.08/person per night.
Dads right though, not alot left out there so we may wanna move fast.
This one is 2 miles from the entrance to the park and roughly 20 miles to paradise.
Thoughts?

Mom booked a cabin for the 7th-14th so were covered there!

Whats even cooler is I read more on the itinerary and were literally minutes away from where we meet on day one, and jump on the shuttle days two and three. This is also where we'll be dropped off after we get off the mountain.
